Confidence, Compassion, and Control
Preparing for the day can help it run more smoothly; however, sometimes unexpected things happen which require us to move out of our comfort zone and make moment-to-moment decisions. But by looking to your purpose and using your cognitive thinking skills, you may be able to make better decisions. McNair Discovery Learning Academy on August 20, 2013. Listen as we talk with Antoinette Tuff, the school’s bookkeeper, and learn how she used her confidence, compassion, and control to negotiate with the gunman, saving the lives of over 870 people.
