Given all of the challenges life tends to bring, it can be difficult to see the blessings in some situations. And that is normal since our brains are "trained" to perceive and protect us from danger. But more times than not, what our brains perceive as danger may not be danger, but rather a challenge - a challenge which may be overcome through perseverance and realistic positivity, both of which are OUR CHOICE. Realistic positivity is "seeing an opportunity rather than a threat", and this emotional intelligence skill can be learned.
